COMPANIONS
And that the Companions of the Messenger of
Allah (may Allah bless him and his Family, and grant them
peace) were virtuous, that their status was of various
ranks, and that they were just, good, and worthy not lawful
to insult or denigrate any of them.
And that the rightful successor [khalifa] to
the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and his Family,
and grant them peace) was Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (May Allah be
pleased with him), followed by 'Umar al Faruq (May Allah be
pleased with him), then 'Uthman al-Shahid (May Allah be
pleased with him), then 'Ali al-Murtada (May Allah be
pleased with him), and may Allah be pleased with all his
other Companions, and with those who follow them with
excellence until the Day of Judgment, and with us also by
thy Mercy, 0 Most Merciful of the Merciful!
